  • The Butler's work is worth it by brob2 on 11-02-09 (07:57AM) Pros: Personalized professional service Cons: none I have taken all my cars to Greg Butler's Auto for some time now. I've recommended my friends who have taken their cars to Greg's and every time the job gets done right and has been very reasonable. The hardest thing about finding a good mechanic/auto body shop is knowing who to trust. Greg and his team are the best in the business and I'd trust them with anything. Their service is phenomenal and their prices are great!
  • Let the Butler Do It! by ricg on 11-02-09 (11:07AM) Pros: Keeping your vehicle on the road and looking good. Cons: none I've known Greg for many years and I've seen countless jobs he's done on everything from horse trailers to show cars. No matter what it is, Greg puts his heart and talent into it and the results are always top notch. Greg also has a dedicated professional auto technician who can make my "Check Engine" light go away.
  • Pros: Everything about Greg and his work is positive! Cons: Absolutely none. I inherited a "junkyard eligible" 1982 Dodge Rampage from my father in 2008. Dad used it as his farm vehicle, and it was in bad shape inside, outside, underneath...you get the picture. However, because it held such good memories for me, I couldn't bear to part with it. Among those memories is Dad teaching my son Eric to drive in the Rampage. Eric, all grown up now, recommended I call Greg, who had done work on some of Eric's vehicles. Greg completely restored the Rampage mechanically and cosmetically, including new upholstery, head liner, carpet, and a gleaming, gorgeous paint job. His attention to detail is astounding and has produced a result better than I ever thought possible. Greg is honest to a fault, which is something I highly value. I know next to nothing about cars, so it's important to me to be able to trust anyone who works on my vehicles. Needless to say, I trust Greg implicitly to not take advantage of me by doing something unnecessary, or by doing a mere "that's good enough" kind of job. I am thrilled with the results, and I know Dad would be too.

  • Posted by dgrubstein on 11/24/2009 I was referred to Greg Butler by my sister after I was in an auto accident. Being referred to a business is much more important to me than how big the ad is or what some company is offering. My sister told me how hard working and ethical he was. The fact that Greg is self employed meant even more to me. I am determined to always work with someone who is self employed vs. a big company. Even though I live near Portland, OR and Greg's business is in Jefferson, the distance was not an issue. He made it very easy for me and offered to come pick the vehicle up. He was attentive, professional and most importantly.. personable. He gave me a timeline for the job and stuck to it. The work is great, he cleaned my car and handled everything with my insurance as well as the rental car company. I highly recommend Greg Butler's Auto Body! Very satisfied!

Transmission Repair
Our services include transmission repair on both manual and automatic transmissions. Transmission Repair and Rebuild
When it comes to automatic transmission repair, there are several options: buying a new one, buying a remanufactured one or having yours rebuilt. Each of the above options has its own share of advantages and disadvantages. Of the three options, rebuilt transmissions are the most economical. A rebuilt transmission involves removing the transmission from the car, disassembling it, replacing worn out parts, reassembling it, and then reinstalling it. To have this done by specialists, call 541-327-7756 to talk to the mechanics of Greg Butler's Auto Body today.

Transmission Flush
Although most manufacturers recommend a transmission flush every 30,000 miles or every two years, some symptoms may indicate that you need a transmission flush sooner. Some of the symptoms that indicate that your car needs a transmission flush sooner are: transmission grinding or strange noises, problems shifting gears, slipping gears, surging of the car, and delay in vehicle movement. Flushing the used fluid from the transmission washes away tiny particles of dirt, clutch material, and metal shavings. For all your transmission flush needs, call 541-327-7756 or visit Greg Butler's Auto Body today - we are transmission experts.

Timing Belt
A timing belt is a part of your car's internal combustion engine. The belt synchronizes the camshaft and the crankshaft rotation so that the engine valves open and close at the correct timings. Also, the belt prevents the piston from striking the valves in an interference engine. A timing Belt is a rubber belt that usually features teeth on the inside service, while a timing chain is a metal roller chain. Most cars we drive now have timing belts instead of timing chains and gears. Although different manufacturers have their recommended mileage, you need to have your car's timing belt checked regularly. To have it checked by experts, contact Greg Butler's Auto Body today.

Cylinder Head
A cylinder head is the closed end of a cylinder (located in a car's engine block). It sits above the cylinder block, closing the top of the cylinder and forming the combustion chamber. The cylinder head coordinates airflow in and out of the engine. Since the cylinder head's chief function is to seal the cylinders properly, insufficient compression results in the car being difficult to drive. To have your cylinder head checked and repaired, talk to Greg Butler's Auto Body's cylinder head repair and reconditioning specialists today.

Cylinder Block
A cylinder block is the powerhouse for the motor vehicle. The solid cast car part houses the cylinders and their components (gaskets, valves, and seals) inside a lubricated and cooled crankcase. Since it is one of the most important parts of your car, the block is designed to be extremely strong and sturdy. Although strong and sturdy, the block is susceptible to failure resulting in a vehicle that won't start. Cracked blocks, porous blocks, core plug, or freeze plug failure are some of the problems facing cylinder blocks. Call 541-327-7756 to talk to the mechanics of Greg Butler's Auto Body about your cylinder block problems.
